Founded in 1998 by the Rotary Club of Point West – Sacramento (PWR), the Point West Rotary Club Foundation serves as a vital funding source dedicated to supporting impactful projects within our community and globally, especially those focused on children and youth.

We are passionate about creating meaningful change, both now and in the future. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees, composed of elected PWR members who oversee its management, health, and growth. Club members apply for Board positions and are elected by their peers, ensuring that the Foundation remains closely aligned with the club’s mission and values.

Impact Highlights
The 2023-2024 Rotary Year marked a significant achievement, with the Point West Rotary Club Foundation surpassing $200,000 in annual giving for the fourth consecutive year. This year, we proudly distributed $238,579 to deserving local non-profits and essential projects, making a difference in our community and beyond.  The Foundation’s permanent fund reached record highs this year, allowing our Trustees to approve an unprecedented $81,389 in annual distributions for the upcoming Rotary year.  This is the largest amount ever allocated in the Foundation’s over 25-year history.  To discover the organizations and school projects supported by our Foundation, please visit our Community Grants page and our International Impact page.  For additional information on the impact our club makes in the local and global community check out our Annual Report HERE.

At the end of the 2023-2024 Rotary Year, our total Foundation assets stood at just over $1.75 million, enabling us to continue our commitment to sustainable community and international giving.
