We're getting close to Brewfest and we have only a couple of Thirsty Thursdays left!  So our social for this quarter will be at Knee Deep Brewing Company (Folsom Taphouse & Grill) at 793 E Bidwell St, Folsom, CA 95630, supporting one of the brewers that supports our Brewfest!  A great opportunity for everyone to get together, enjoy some great beer, socialize and support our Brewfest!  Don't forget...this is on a Thursday night and begins at 5:30 pm...which means we will be dark the next day, Friday, September 4th.  Join us for fun and socializing!

Friday, September 4th we'll be dark so you all can enjoy a long weekend to celebrate Labor Day!  Join us on Thursday night, Sept. 3rd at the B Street Theatre for our first social of the year!

It's time for the annual visit from our District Governor!  This year's governor, Dave Veden, will join us on Friday, Sept. 11th to share his ideas, goals and give an update on the district.  Please join us to give DG Dave a warm Point West Rotary welcome!  We'll have the usual merriment and fun, along with birthdays, announcements and happy dollars!  The bell rings promptly at 7:30 am to start the meeting, but come early for breakfast and to mingle with fellow Rotarians and friends!  We'll be meeting at our new venue...the Conzelmann Community Center at 2201 Cottage Way.

Are you ready to travel?  Then you'll want to join us on Friday, September 18th as our speaker will be Ismael Barba, NorCal Manager of Alaska Airlines.  Come check out what he has to say about air travel these days!  We'll also have our usual announcements (remember that GARCU is Saturday, September 19th! - see Dan Hall), happy dollars, birthdays and so much more!  Come for the buffet breakfast early to mingle with other Rotarians and friends!  The bell rings promptly at 7:30 am to start the meeting!  See you there!

Prez Randy requests the pleasure of your company at our meeting on Friday, September 25th...be a part of the fun!  There will be the usual hijinks, questions, breakfast, announcements and all-round merriment!  Our speaker will be Gregg Fishman, current Sacramento Regional Transit Senior Community Relations Officer.  He is an active and involved member of our community and is sure to be interesting and informative!  The meeting starts at 7:30 am at the Conzelmann Community Center!

If it's Friday, it's Point West Rotary club meeting!  Join us at 7:30 am for another wonderful meeting led by our very own Ringmaster, President Randy Burton!  Our speaker for today will be Joe Pick, Executive Director of the Firefighters Burn Institute.  Come a bit early to enjoy the buffet breakfast and your fellow Rotarians and friends!

Another week at the circus with Point West Rotary and Ringmaster President Randy Burton!  This week's speaker will be another Rotarian...Sue Hayes from the Rotary Club of American River!  Sue will share stories about RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awakening), the week long camp for high school students that literally changes lives...both of the students who attend and the counselors!  A wonderful program that our club has supported for decades.  We'll also have our regular announcements, birthday wishes, fun...and a great buffet breakfast!  The bell rings at 7:30 am to start the meeting, but join us a bit early to eat and chat!
